Intuitive consultations consist of a practitioner accessing information via non-linear means.
Intuition gives us the ability to know something directly without analytic reason, and bridges the gap between the conscious and non-conscious parts of our mind.
During an intuitive consultation, a practitioner may rely directly upon impressions such as mental images, felt bodily sensations, words mentally 'heard', or through the sense of smell or taste. Or they may use tools such as cards, palm reading, rune stones and other modalities as portals to access intuitive information. These methods serve to put a person in their non-linear mode of thinking and perceiving to receive intuitive information.
The ability to communicate with the departed, known as mediumship, is also a form of intuitive receiving. An intuitive consultation may be very specific and detailed, or more impressionistic depending on the practitioner and the information they receive at a given time.
